The Moher Soap Co
For years, founder Raquel had trouble with dry and broken skin as a result of repeated hand washing with commercially produced soap. With the discovery that she could make use of the properties derived from the flowers and herbs that grew in her garden on the west coast of Ireland, she quickly became fascinated with the world of soap making using only natural ingredients.
Falling back on her laboratory work experience, she built up an understanding of how different natural ingredients interact to best influence the properties of her handmade soap.
Her zero-waste ethos led to wrapping the soap in fabric, a material that people could reuse to make other things with, themselves.
