Short blocks put all that force on a small section of the joint. On long planks, that can crush the click profile or leave the far end of the joint open.

At 508mm, this block covers far more of the joint with each strike, so the force spreads along the length of the plank. The D-grip handle holds your fingers clear of the floor, and the I-beam shape keeps the block rigid without adding weight.

Pair it with the Bullet Heavy-Duty Pull Bar for the last plank in each row, where there isn't room for a tapping block.
