At 152 x 51mm it gets into inside corners, around sanitaryware, along worktop upstands and into narrow borders and window reveals, where a full-size float would catch the wall or skip the joint.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe face is pure gum rubber over a dense rubber pad, so it presses grout firmly into the joint and then lifts the excess off the tile face when you work it diagonally across the joints. The bevelled edges help pack grout into tight joints, and the tempered steel backing keeps the pad flat under pressure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost tilers carry a margin float alongside a full-size float: the large float covers open wall and floor areas quickly, and the margin float finishes the edges and awkward spots.
